The Last Saturday of My School Holidays
Last Saturday of my school holidays, and I had to go back to school to do a stupid presentation on my project which I did during my industrial attachment.
Stupid, because it isn't even graded. I don't care for the prize, and besides, I already gave a more concise presentation to my attachment company.
I'd also want to bitch about CORS. Because they stated that we don't have to rush in immediately before open bidding ends, as we can view the results of the open bidding after it has closed. But they apparently didn't update the results until the entire bidding is over.
I also want to bitch about the way NUS relate important information that concerns our graduation to us. Because most of the time it is being phrased in a confusing way. And it doesn't help when they try to impose so many restrictions and pre-requisites and etc on us. Its like saying that we can only choose one kind of vegetable at dinner. But the vegetable must not be the same as the garnishes of our main dish and the vegetable must not be the same as what we had for lunch. In the event that the vegetable is the same as that of lunch and the garnish of our main dish, then we must order a vegetable that we had for dinner the day before. Fulfill these requirements, and we can have dessert, whereby the dessert has to be chocolate or contain nuts, or contains both. But for those born in the 2nd half of the year of '83, then we can ignore the requirement on the vegetable that we had for lunch.
......
Okay. Ignore that analogy. Got carried away. LOL
Anyway, after presentation, I went with Shufen and Zhiwei to IMM. Initially had wanted to walk around Giant, but I (or we?) were hungry, and we ended up at the Coffee Club (or Coffee Express? Can't remember the name).
Once there, I proceed to look at the menu. And once again, I fell prey to
MUSHROOM Crepe and Cheese
Wow. This picture does not do it justice. It tasted incredible. So heavenly! I was in a state of bliss throughout the time I took to clean up my plate. I didn't even bothered to ask my friends if they wanted to try some. haha!! And upon finishing it, I could only say,
"I want somemore!!"
But I didn't, and proceeded to order
Muddy Mud Pie
Saw a picture of a Mud Pie on Meizhen's MSN a few days back. That was why I wanted to try it. Didn't know mud pie is an ice-cream? Anyway, it tasted great the first few mouthful. But it was a bit too sweet and chocolaty for me, so I promptly began to feel quite sick of all the chocolate and sweetness. Maybe it'll better satisfy those with a very sweet tooth.
So after this, I went over to meet Christopher and his friend in Orchard for a KTV session, where I proceeded to serenade them to death (literally) with my singing.
In retrospect, this last saturday of my holidays didn't seem too bad.
Back to school soon.
Sigh.
Bring on the tutorials, projects and exams.
