First Week of School

School started. Kind of glad to be in school again. I am saying this now before the project deadlines and exams start coming in.

Been spending quite a bit of money recently. So let's count the ways.

Serenade Chris and friend to death on Saturday. Serenade Zhiwei and Shufen to death (once more, literally) on Tuesday again. But the cost of the KTV this time was cheaper, because it was on a weekday.

Then went out shopping for new year clothes on Thursday with Chris. Bought 2 shirts and 2 pairs of pants/jeans. Went to TCC with Chris too. I think TCC has a very nice variety of coffee. Wasn't hungry, so didn't try the food. Just ordered a

Honey Latte

The presentation is wonderful right? There's even 2 cookies for you. One thing I have to gripe here, is that the sony ericsson camera have a problem with focusing on nearby objects. Anyway, this is a honey latte. So you can see that THICK layer of honey at the bottom? In fact, it was a bit too much honey. TOO SWEET! URGH. Never order a honey latte at TCC, unless you have a very sweet tooth. Instead, perhaps try a roasted hazelnut latte, as Chris had ordered. because he stirred it and destroyed the nice layers, I didn't take any pictures of it. Anyway, I took a sip of his, and it wasn't too sweet and was actually quite aromatic.

Did more shopping after that, and got drenched by the heavy rain and the water filled potholes in orchard road. Met up with Nicholas and Kokleng at night to have dinner. Thursday was one day after Nicholas' birthday, and one day before Kokleng's birthday, so,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THEM BOTH~~!!!

At Ajitei, we ordered..er..can't remember.

Lazy to take a picture of everyone's food.

My cutlet was quite stale, and the sauce that came with it was quite salty. Not good. Nicholas' unagi tasted quite good on the other hand. Didn't try Chris' or Kok's. The asparagus chicken skewer (or whatever you called it) also tasted nice.

After dinner, we did dessert.

Red Bean Paste

Some Dessert

The red bean paste was not bad. But the dessert set in the second picture wasn't too fantastic. In fact, for it looking so different, it tasted very common. Not good. Especially when it costs about $8+. All in all, food wasn't very good at Ajitei. Its located in the basement, right next to the supermarket (cold storage?).

The last drain to my wallet came, when I broke my frameless spectacles. Was waiting for the train at City Hall on the way to school. Decided to take off my spectacles, and give it a little clean on my shirt. So I was rubbing rubbing rubbing, and than it broke.

No more frameless spectacles for me. Anyway, been thinking of getting a new spectacles. So I guess this is the sign for me to get a new one.

Went to get a new spectacles fitted on the same day (a half-frame one). Thanks to Xiaoting for choosing a very nice one. Thanks to Angel, Zhiwei and everyone who was there to give their opinions. Haha. Always have problems getting a nice spectacles because it is hard to choose something when you are as blind as a bat.

The spectacles was ready for collection the next day. Thankfully. Because it was hard to move about when I can hardly see anything.

Going to Liang court later for dinner. More money about to be spent. Fortunately Chinese New Year's approaching. Perhaps I can recoup my losses then.
