Angry

I am very angry.
Because blogspot is screwing up my alignment and making my post messy.
Because there are 4 mid term tests this week, and I can't remember anything that I studied.
Because I spent everyday since term break began doing lab report, tutorials, etc.
Because NUS stole 2 days of holidays from me.
Because I didn't play enough mahjong.
I demand a refund of my Chinese New Year.
Anyway, thanks to Felix for having us at his house on Thursday. Had quite a nice steamboat lunch.

Term Break Is Here!!! And Happy Chinese New Year!!

Been a very very long time since I've updated my blog.

Time passes very fast, half my school sem has just about gone by. Being extremely busy with school work. Realised that I actually love studying. Not the exams and tests, but just the process of finding out new things, and just learning. Haha!
Anyway, at least term break is here at last! But NUS has to screw things up by placing term break in the week of Chinese New Year, effectively negating the 2 holidays we are supposed to have. Moreover, I have 4 term tests the week I return to school. What the hell.

And they wonder why Singaporeans are so stressed.

Have had lots of outings and meeting up with friends since my last post. Here are some of them.

At Tan Po Po, located in the basement of Liang Court. Everyone was raving about the ramen, but I thought it didn't taste that fantastic. Maybe it had something to do with the copious amount of bean sprout in my Ramen. Loved that huge plate of sashimi in the picture.

Met up with friends from ARC. Missed them lots. Ate at Changing Appetite. Food there sucks. Maybe I ordered something wrong. Anyway, I enjoyed this meet up with them, had a really good chat with everyone after dinner at starbucks.

Also had this gathering with my pri/sec sch friends. Had a wonderful steamboat and catered buffet. Won a mahjong set and a can of abalone that night. Oh, and a very very big thanks to Zhangkai for organising the dinner (Also to those who helped out one way or another). I think this was the best pri/sec school reunion dinner that I had yet.

A Material Science gathering. Had catered food. A formal gathering, this was, because it was actually organised by the school. By the way, the person in blue on the right is actually one of our prof, Dr Daniel Chua. Haha, all of us chatted alot with him that day.
Apart from this, a few of us (Angel, Felix, Kelvin, Zhiwei and Shufen) also went all the way to tampines to try out "Family International Buffet". It's concept is actually the same as Sakura. The food wasn't too bad. But it wasn't anything to write home about either. Another thing that stood out was its selection of tea. That means after eating, you could just sit back, relax, chat and drink tea. I also found out on that day, that blackcurrent tea sucks.
This was the first round of food I had that day. Looks delicious. Would also like to say, that ever since I tried the oysters aboard a small cruise back in Sydney, no other oysters back in Singapore could ever match its taste.
Finally, a few of us had a chinese new year celeberation at "xian de lai" steamboat restaurant in bugis yesterday. Still pending photos from Xiaoting. Haha. Had lots of fun, laughed lots. Also enjoyed the dinner immensely.

Lastly, not to forget, I met up with my IA friends too. Had Breeks @ Marina Square. Kind of missed them. Too bad Wengsoon and Viknesh didn't turn up.
Happy Birthday to Gigi!!~
Lots of friend's birthdays are in February.
Apart from Gigi,
Happy birthday to Fabian, Pi Kuang, Andrea and Celene!!!
Erm, did I missed anybody?
