Autumn

You Belong in Fall

Intelligent, introspective, and quite expressive at times...
You appreciate the changes in color, climate, and mood that fall brings
Whether you're carving wacky pumpkins or taking long drives, autumn is a favorite time of year for you

So true.
I love autumn.
Unfortunately no change in colours, climate or moods here in tiny Singapore.

It has been freaking sunny these few days.
So hot!
What's wrong!
Was walking under the sun beside Uni Hall yesterday and I looked across to the SRC field.
Death Valley immediately came to mind.

Not that I mind a tan...but not when it burns....

And its Wednesday! So many things not done!
AHhh!!

*pushes panic button*

Beyond the Sea

Loving this song.

First heard it in a game. Thought nothing much about it initially. Then I re-watched Finding Nemo yesterday, and realised that this was the song they played during the credits.

That's when I fell in love with it.

It's an old song. This is a version done by Kevin Spacey.

Oh, and about Finding Nemo...I think it's my favourite Pixar film.

Dory absolutely rocks.

15th day of September

24 years already...

Met up with friends last Friday. Went to watch Ratatouille at Plaza Singapura, then proceeded to have dinner at fish and co.

Its dangerous to go to fish and co. on your birthday...

Anyway, Ratatouille was nice. As expected from Pixar. Felt that the middle was rather boring though. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable. I think by now everyone has heard enough good reviews about it, so I'm not going to say more.

Presents I got that day. It's supposed to be a set of items that I have to wear and take a photo of myself, and let everyone see.

But no. I am not going to do that.

Anyway, the items are:
T-shirt
Pillow
Handphone pouch
Tea cup
Cushion
pyjamas (o.O)

To my friends who celebrated with me that day. Sorry if I looked too bored or tired. It's just the way I look.
I'd need plastic surgery to change my look into a naturally happy and excited one.
Thanks anyway, appreciated it all.

Then went over to Zk's house on Saturday.
Had mooncakes.
Tried champange and baileys mooncake for the first time.
A little too early for mooncake though.
Oh well.
Moon wasn't even out - it was just a tiny crescent.

Anyway, mid-term break is here again.
Need to catch up.
Prof Marumaru's notes are giving me a big headache.
Prof Bear has to ponder upon my final year project.
Prof ZYW's module is too mathematical for a science student.

ARGH.

FYP/The Lost Room

Had a very busy week.
Busy with 4 tutorials and my first FYP presentation.

Anyway, I realise I am very bad at explaining things.
Seems like I keep going in roundabouts, repeating myself. Just can't find the right words to explain something clearly.

Oh well, at least its over. 2 more presentations to go...

I've recently been watching this little 3 part mini-series called The Lost Room
Has a very interesting story line.
It's about this guy who manages to get a hold of a key.
When used on any door, the key will transport the man into a motel room, and from within the room, he could go any place he wanted to.
This motel room, however, is cut off from reality.
It seems that this room use to exist. However, after some "events" that had happened years before, it is now cut off from this universe. Something like that.
Anyway, his daughter had entered the room, and she disappeared within it.
So this guy is on this quest to bring back his daughter.
And in order to do so, he has to find back the objects that were originally within the room.

Hahh. Love these kinds of stories. Something different. Something that would leave you imagining and guessing.

Finally, I'd like to say,
I like the sky after it rains.
Looks so clear....
Hmmmmm.
