End of Exams, Away to Japan

Exams finally ended a few days back. And I can't even remember which day it was! Hmm...30th Apr..okay, that's a Wednesday.

The last paper was similar to the earlier one - as in that it is just as bad. So that's it for school life for me. The only thing left will be my upcoming commencement. And then "hello, working world".

Caught Ironman after my final paper, and I found it very enjoyable. Robert Downey Jr. brought that needed charisma to Tony Stark. The pace of the movie was just nice, not like some of the other comic superhero first movies, like Spiderman 1 and Xmen 1 where I got bored at some parts. Looking forward to Ironman 2, like how I am looking forward to Batman: The Dark Knight. And I especially enjoyed the bonus ending scene for Ironman. But I think the significance of it will be lost to those who don't know much of the Marvel Universe. And Samuel L. Jackson is Nick Fury. Somehow, I think after Snakes on a Plane, Samuel L. Jackson has became an icon à la Chuck Norris - although not quite yet.

Anyway, I am off to Japan tomorrow. I think I will be missing Singapore a little when I am away. I bet all my friends would have found a job by the time I return.

Finally, my blog will be 2 years old come 16th May. How time flies.

Can't Start

Had my first paper yesterday. Was very bad. Had to do 4 questions. The first 2 were rather easy. But that was a decoy. The next 2 questions killed. Plus I realised I had a bit of mental block yesterday - had trouble fishing out the right equations to use.

One more paper to go. 5 days to study. Have been trying to start for the last hour. Poured myself a cup of coke, wanting to drink it and study at the same time, but the drink is almost finished now. For the last hour I had been staring at my computer screen, staring out the window and realising that the weather today is super good, listening to children playing downstairs and listening to that mysterious lady shouting at God-knows-who again.

Then I thought of Socrates, Descartes and Aristotle and then reaffirmed that most philosophers are simply insecure about themselves and their lives.

And my mind shifted to the mysteries of the Universe. Of blackholes, multiverse and dark matter. And I remained intrigued and if I were clever and better at maths and not living in Singapore, I might have became a cosmologist.

Finally, my thoughts settled on Greek mythology and it is as scandalous as ever, but ever so interesting.

Yes. My mind wandered and gallop around everywhere today but the most pressing matter at hand - ML 4112 : Imaging Techniques.

And now I am blogging and listening to my music.

And I've just finished my Coke.
